Primary Addition

A retired couple sought a first-floor primary addition to their home, complete with a bedroom, walk-in closet, and a bathroom designed for long-term comfort. We incorporated proactive accessibility measures, including ADA clearance measurements to allow for a wheelchair or walker, and wall blocking for easy installation of future grab bars.

The overall aesthetic is intentionally neutral, allowing the beautiful surrounding landscaping to be the primary source of color. In the bathroom, a sense of serenity is achieved with a large soaking tub positioned to overlook a limelight hydrangea tree. The luxurious materials—crisp Calacatta Gold marble with subtle gold veining on the walls and floors—are elegantly paired with brushed brass fixtures.
